Alex joined F&B in 2019 as Assistant Director of College Advising and has over 15 years of experience in the education sector. At F&B, he is responsible for managing the company’s student-centered advising process, which helps students identify colleges, assess strengths, and identify the optimal marketing strategy for the student. A two-sport athletic recruit in football and track, Alex also guides high school student-athletes through the nuances of the college recruiting process.

Alex is a graduate of Middlebury College, where he earned his M.A. in English Literature and Composition and his B.A. in English and Spanish. Prior to joining F&B, Alex taught and held senior leadership roles in independent schools, including Assistant Director of College Guidance and student life/academic dean at Greens Farms Academy (Westport, CT) and Head of Upper School at New Canaan Country School (New Canaan, CT).

Alex holds membership with the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC), the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). In these capacities, Alex regularly represents F&B at regional and national conferences.
